Saint Peter's Craft Masonic Lodge held an event this month to which partners/friends of Freemasons were treated to a lovely meal and a talk by W Bro Graham Riche about the history and support Teddies for Loving Care gives especially in Nottinghamshire
Saint Peter's Lodge gave a charity donation of £525 to TLC Nottinghamshire enabling them to fund another three boxes of bears and also people attending the event purchased bears and other items to help this wonderful charity continue to look after children in the most harrowing circumstances, giving a comforting distraction and help through their trauma
In fact one story when young children hid beneath their bed whilst hearing their mum murdered in the next room showed what a vital service this is and brought many a tear to the eyes of those present
In Nottinghamshire, these bears are not just distributed into hospitals but into any setting where they can help through trauma including Police Stations etc
If anyone is in a position to help this Charity you will be helping to support children in the most difficult times
