Nurse Yvette Milnes (3rd in from the left) came along to the Widows Sons natter night in March to explain how welcome the Food Boxes delivered by Widows Sons are to patients and their families who attend the University Hospital Nottingham (UHN) and City hospitals and have to stay overnight when normal catering facilities are not available .

The boxes contain not only food but essential items such as toiletries and these boxes are restocked regularly by the Widows Sons hence the need for regular contributions

It was great to hear what Yvette had to say.

Notts Widows Sons recently made an appeal to all craft Lodges in the Province for donations to enable us to continue with this project which from all the feedback received is an extremely popular and much appreciated service

The generosity of Lodges was way beyond our expectations,

The number of lodges that donated is too great to list, but the Notts Chapter thanked them all for their support and donations that have reached nearly £3000 so far

The young man Robert was there with his dad Dave- How long before hes riding his dads motorcycle lol (I hope you are planning for this Dave?)
