The Chairman of the Provincial Charity Committee W Bro John Pawlik was on hand at the inaugural meeting of the parents fund raising committee for Fountaindale, a special educational needs school, which is based just outside of Mansfield.
John attended the meeting along with a contingent of the Freemasons of Mansfield Charity Stewards to present a cheque for £2000 raised by the Swimathon, which W Bro Ken Purslow had organised in aid of Fountaindale School.
The School is a vital resource giving children with additional needs the ability to learn in a safe, supportive and caring environment.
The Parents led fundraising team is now looking to raise money for an additional school bus which will allow more pupils to attend activities outside of the site.
The school was grateful for the donation.
