Nottinghamshire Widows Sons Chapter deliver more Easter cheer to the children at Fountaindale School

The 29th of March 2025 saw a group of motorcyclists from the Masonic Widows Sons Chapter Nottinghamshire gather to ride to Fountaindale School. which is a school for children and young people aged 3 to 18 years who have profound and multiple learning needs, complex physical and medical needs and sensory needs

This is a regular event for the Widows Sons, but this year, to be able to donate more Easter eggs, the eggs weren't carried by motorcycle but arrived by car, and the Widows Sons presented a cheque for £100 to pay for the presents

Richard Wheelhouse, the Chapter President, can be seen presenting the cheque to the school's Head Teacher, Mr Chris Evans, who is always very supportive of this event and expressed his sincere thanks to the Widows Sons and to all the other people whose hard work made this event possible

Mr Evans explained that the demand for the school's services is so great that extra classrooms are being built over the summer

The demand still outstrips capacity, but the school strives to help as many children and young persons as possible

As well as all the images below, which show the enjoyment on the day there is also a short video of the Widows Sons leaving as they passed either side of the brave (or stupid) Provincial Photographer
