FREEMASONS OF BASSETLAW
SUMMER CONCERT AT CLUMBER PARK
On Saturday 2nd July approximately 130 people came along to the Hardwick Village within Clumber Park, for an evening concert with the Thoresby Colliery Band.
The band played a wide range of music from Movies and Musicals, ranging from Oklahoma to Jurassic Park, Lord of the Rings, Bohemian Rhapsody through to Bat out of Hell.
The concert was deemed to be a great success and raised approximately £1500 for local charities and good causes.
This fund-raising event was organised by the Freemasons of Bassetlaw, which was formed in 2012 from a voluntary association of the Charity Stewards from the 12 Craft Lodges in Worksop and Retford.
The group has grown since then and now includes other brethren keen to support our efforts in raising funds for local charities and good causes.
Since it’s formation, the group has raised over £50000, and produces an annual report with full details of our activities.
