Appointment of our next Provincial Grand Master

With the very well deserved and upcoming retirement of our current Provincial Grand Master, R W Bro. Philip Marshall, The Grand Master has been pleased to appoint W Bro Julian P. Townsend as his successor, to take effect from the 13th June 2025.

W Bro. Townsend already serves as Grand Superintendent of and over Nottinghamshire in the #RoyalArch, and his appointment as Provincial Grand Master for Nottinghamshire further strengthens the indisoluble link between Craft Freemasonry and the Royal Arch.

I am sure all Brethren will want to wish W Bro. Julian the heartiest of congratulations on his further preferment, and also to thank RW Bro. Philip for his incredible hard work and service over the last decade!
