Another Night at the Dogs

Due to the success of previous years, Nottinghamshire Freemasons from the Freemasons of Bassetlaw once again organised a Night at the Greyhound racing at Owlerton Stadium in Sheffield to watch live greyhound racing.

The objective was to raise funds for local charities and good causes in the Bassetlaw area. The night was supported by over 130 people, which consisted of Freemasons and their families and non-Freemasons and their families, along with some of the local charities that have received our support in the past.

We had exclusive use of Napoleons Bar and the feedback received was very positive and enjoyable by all who attended, all were very well entertained by some exiting greyhound racing a free drink and a basket of chips with chicken strips.

A fun quiz was circulated, with all taking part, followed by a fantastic raffle, with prizes donated by attendees and by Freemasons who were unable to attend. A total of 30 prizes produced wonderful donations of £530

In Summary a thoroughly enjoyable night with a great atmosphere, and a superb £1855 raised for Charities and Good Causes in the Bassetlaw area!
