Email to all members of the Province of Nottinghamshire, 2nd March 2021
The proposals for an exit from the national lockdown are very welcome news although we are still some weeks away from being free of its constraints. As lodges put in place plans for a return to the practice of Freemasonry, there is the opportunity to consider how lodges can become stronger. There are of course, several elements to creating strength and sustainability with growth in membership being central to the future prosperity of the lodge. With this in mind, the Provincial Membership Team has organised the following online talk, aimed at Lodge Membership Officers and all brethren with an interest in strengthening their lodge.
“How to grow the membership of your Lodge”
Friday, 19th March at 7.00 pm
Please book at https://howto-notts1.eventbrite.co.uk
The talk examines seven key facts that change the way we think about growth. It includes practical activities to provide those attending with a tangible result.
For those members who have friends who would like to know more about Freemasonry, the Byron Club has organised the following online talk:
“All you ever wanted to know about Freemasonry (but didn’t know how to ask)”
Tuesday, 6th April at 8.00 pm
Please book at https://ayewtk-byron.eventbrite.co.uk
If you know of anyone whowould like to get an insight into Freemasonry and what membership entails, please invite them to join you for this talk. They will need some of your Masonic details to register.
Both talks have been written and will be delivered by W Bro. Tony Harvey, PAGDC, the Provincial Membership Officer, who is a well-known Masonic speaker (see https://prestonian2012.org.uk for details).
All bookings are via the links above. Those who register will be sent a meeting link on the afternoon of the talk.
Yours faithfully and fraternally
V. Worshipful Brother Andrew C. Rainbow
