A lovely sunny Sunday was perfect for the East Midlands Chapter of the WSMBA ride out to the International Bomber Command Centre in Lincoln. Three members set off from the Rose & Crown in Zouch, the Chapter’s HQ, the ride took us through Melton Mowbray where another member joined the group. From Melton we went on to Ancaster to join an organized charity ride to Bomber Command.
The charities being supported were the Bomber Command Centre, Lincolnshire Blood Bikes, RAF Benevolent Fund and Motorcycle Outreach. On arrival at Bomber Command we bumped in to a few Widows Sons from Scotland and Lincolnshire. After spending a couple of hours looking around Bomber Command and watching a Dakota fly past it was time to head off back home.
