VW. Brother Chris Adkin (the Deputy PGM) welcomed over 200 people to the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Nottinghamshire’s annual visit to a very warm and sunny Trent Bridge.

Even though the Outlaws were unable to overcome a strong Worcester Rapids team it was another enjoyable Mark Social event and over £3,000 was raised for Nottingham Mencap, and VW Brother Chris thanked all the people who had donated prizes for the raffle and auction.

The auctioneer was W. Brother Peter Pickering who brought his own special brand of humour to the occasion! Dee Reader and Rita Pickering organised the sale of raffle tickets in their own usual friendlyand efficient style.

A mad dash by many to see the fireworks on the Embankment at the end of the evening completed a full day of enjoyment.
